This adventure is designed and introduced for you to be build your miles and experience towards obtaining your Yachtmaster Offshore.
We sail either along the West Coast of Africa, from Cape Town to Luderitz and Walvis Bay in Namibia and then onto the beautiful island of St. Helena in the Atlantic Ocean. After a couple of days of sightseeing and rest you will sail directly back to Cape Town.
We also sail the Indian ocean along the East African Coast and beyond. The weather, time of year, plaque and cyclone alerts determine your adventure.
On the East Coast, some of the destinations could include: Seychelles, Mafia island, Songo Songo Island, Kwale island, Nosey Be Island (Off Madagascar), Mtwara, Kilwe, Okuza Island, Pemba in Mozambique and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. If it is safe to tackle the Indian Ocean, then Yachtmaster Sailing School will fly students from Cape Town International Airport to Julius Nyerere Airport in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and the sailing trip will commence from there down to Pemba in Mozambique and then Cape Town or students will be flown back from Pemba to Cape Town International Airport.
This adventure is an outsourced product. Best described as a charter. You will be fully involved in the running of the boat. Choosing routes, preparing the vessel, standing and planning watches.
