Radar plays a vital role in navigation and collision avoidance at sea. With the latest advancements in technology anyone can operate small craft RADAR

On this course, you learn the use and understanding of  small craft RADAR equipment.

You learn how to use small boat RADAR to assist decision-making in navigation, pilotage and collision avoidance.

This is presented in our classroom based at the Royal Cape Yacht Club in Cape Town

We use a state of the art RADAR Simulator on a PC and projector to prepare students for the use of real equipment fitted on vessels at sea.
